Scope
This policy explains the privacy design of this demonstration website.
Information
No account is required. A production server may process technical data such as IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. Forms, analytics or advertising tools require this notice to be updated before activation.
Cookies & consent
This build stores only the visitor’s cookie preference. Optional analytics and advertising tracking are disabled. Where European rules require prior consent, optional technologies should remain disabled until consent is given. Consent can be changed through Cookie Settings.
European privacy rights
Where applicable, individuals may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a competent supervisory authority.
U.S. privacy rights
Depending on jurisdiction and legal applicability thresholds, U.S. residents may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction and certain opt-outs. California residents may also have rights concerning sale or sharing and non-discrimination.
Sale or sharing
This coursework build does not sell personal information and does not intentionally share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Data minimisation, retention & security
A production implementation should collect only information needed for stated purposes, retain it only as necessary and use safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls and secure hosting.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13.
Contact
For this academic demonstration, privacy requests are represented as being directed to [email protected]. This is not an operational mailbox because the publisher is fictional.
